Martin Kesuma is an award-winning pianist and educator with an international career in performance and teaching. A prizewinner of the Vancouver International Music Competition and Betty Dickinson Piano Competition, he has also received special recognition for Best Mozart Performance. He has appeared as a soloist with the Central Texas Philharmonic, Round Rock Symphony, and UT University Orchestra, among others.
At Texas State University, Martin served as Director of the FunKey Piano Project, a community-based piano program for young students, and at Texas Lutheran University as Assistant Professor of Piano and Music Theory. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music. In addition to his performing and teaching activities, he serves as Marketing Director and Piano Faculty of the Texas State International Piano Festival.
